We all have a need. All of us have messed up according to Romans 3:23. But we didn’t need the Bible to tell us that did we? And then there’s a gift. It’s called eternal life and it comes from God. The answer to the need is to get the gift. You do that by calling on the name of the Lord. Just pray this simple prayer to God and He will hear you: Say, “Dear God, I call on Your name today. I ask for the gift of eternal life. I believe You died for me. Forgive me of my sins. Come into my life. Cleanse me. Change me. Thank you that I’m now forgiven and on my way to heaven.
